HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi My Angels: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day. We are staying home and making a special dinner and watching Chick Flicks! We are wild and crazy!

We went to the foot doctor today. Neil was disappointed because he has to be on crutches longer, but he is slowly healing. They did a whole new wrapping to his foot, and we don't change it until next week when we go back.
Good news! We were able to find someone to take our trip to the Caribbean. So we don't have to pay for that. We are sad we can't go for our anniversary this year. But maybe next year.

I am adding pictures from the last week. They are so darn cute. We love all of you so much. Our love and prayers are with all of you.

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!

What a great day!!!!! We went to Brandon and Heidi's for the game. It was great! GO GIANTS!! The game was great and exciting. We had spaghetti dinner and cake. We just missed watching Bob watch the game. That would have been the best.

We went to visit Natalie the night before---and watched Lila, Emme, Bobby J and Bryton. They put on a dance for us....and were all so cute. Bobby says everything that the other kids say. And he tries to dance like Bryton. Winter taught Bryton some dance moves...even the worm.

Neil's foot is doing better. It is still sore but we go to the dr. next week. Neil is hoping that he will be off crutches soon.

We love our children and grandchildren and are grateful for all of their help and thoughtfulness. Bob and Beth are coming home today!!!!! Their kids sure miss them. And they miss their kids.

We are all blessed!!!

Monday Night Fun...

Tonight Lila and Emelia came over to visit with Josh and Natalie. We had a wonderful steak dinner cooked in the Geroge Forman Grill Brandon gave us for Christmas. I made an apple pie for Neil and Natalie. Josh was just happy for the steak. Lila danced in the front room and then settled in to play with the Polly Pockets. She is such a good girl. Emme is crawling all over the place. She thinks she is a big girl. Megan thinks she is wise beyond her months.

Bryton's Birthday Party and Neil's recouperation

Well, This has been quite an exciting month with unforseen adventures. First of all, Neil hurts his foot a few weeks ago. Of course, he didn't mention it, just sat watching TV with a sock full of blood.
He had worn an ulcer, or sore on his foot from rubbing against his shoe. Of course, he would not go to the doctor, so we tried to mend it on our own.
After a couple of weeks, and the infection getting worse, and the sore getting larger, he went to the emergency room and they cut into it and gave him some strong antibiotics. He was told not to walk on it, but he thought he could. So it didn't heal. Last week we went to a diabetic orthopaedic doctor and they cut out some of the infection, took x rays to see in the infection had gone to the bone, and told him he had to be on crutches for weeks and NOT put any weight on it. This has been hard on Neil, since he has so much he wants to do. But he wears out easily with all these meds in his system. So either Megan or I take him where he thinks he has to go, and he feels better getting out a little.
The doctor called today, and the infection didn't go into the bone. So we are very relieved. The home teachers came tonight and he had a blessing. We are looking forward to his full recovery.

Also, Bryton had her 9th birthday last week. She had a sledding party, and the whole family came, except, of course, Britt and family. They were sorely missed. But it is hard to feel badly for them, since it is in the 60's in Arizona! It was so fun that I even took a turn going down the hill on a tube. Bryton held my hand the whole way, and said, "I'm so proud of you, Grandma!" when we got to the bottom of the hill. It was fun and I am looking forward to Bob and Bethany going again. I hope they will ask me, since I am getting to be a pro after one trip down.

I want you all to know how grateful we are for all of you. You are the most important thing in Neil and my lives. We adore you all, admire you all, and are so proud of you all. We love spending time with you and our wonderful grandchildren, every one. Thanks for making our family great!!!!!!!

Happy New Year and we will all of you much happiness, success, and peace in the year to come. We will always love you and cherish you and your wonderful children. What a gift you have given us through the years of love, laughter and memories!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great Holiday we have had. The whole family was here for Christmas Eve, and stopped by for Christmas day. It was chaotic and fun at the same time. We are so glad to be with all of you and enjoy you and your children.

Brittany and Ben and girls stayed with us for awhile and it was good to get to know their children again. They are growing so fast, and so talkative and busy. Three little blonde sweethearts. We had great food, fun games, little shopping and always eating. Josh made great ribs that we were after. I guess next time we need to get 10 racks to satisfy everyone. Even Natalie loved them, and she used to shun meat. Our living room was full again of presents, happy laughter, noisy kids, and fun times. It reminds us of when you were all young and stood in line in the hall to come into the tree on Christmas morning. With a little one on Aaron's shoulders, and the excited faces to see what santa had brought. Great memories.

After Christmas we had a family picture taken and were quite happy with it. It has been so long since we had all of us for a picture. We are so proud of all of you and your beautiful children. Thanks for giving us such a wonderful posterity.
