Well, May has passed quickly but not without incident. As I remember the first part of May was pretty smooth. Neil got off his crutches and was walking on his own. Spring was on the way,and we planned a little trip to Bill's cabin in Brian Head.
The morning after we arrived, Neil fell over a large bed post about 5 a.m. He knew he had hurt something badly, so I packed up Neil and left Megan and kids and Brittany and kids and brought him up to U of U Hospital. He was in alot of pain, and after about 10 hours in the emergency, it was decided that he a fractured his femur. The next day he had surgery and they put 3 long screws into the femur to attach the bone. The girls and their kids packed all the food, etc., and came up to Salt Lake.
Neil had a lot of blood taken, numerous x rays and MRI's. They took 3 biopsies from his bone that was fractured. Yesterday we found out he has b cell lymphoma, which means cancer of the marrow and maybe the bone. We will not know everything until June 17th as they need to take more tests. But we are trying to be in good spirits, and have had a blessing and our wonderful children and friends are surrounding us with love. I wanted to put pictures on of Brittany and her girls, but will have to next time. We love you all and are grateful for our blessings. Please remember us in your prayers.

IT'S MAY, IT'S MAY, THE LUSTY MONTH OF MAY
I know, you wonder where that title came from. It is from "Camelot"...I didn't just make it up.
We are having a great May. Everyone is feeling better after a long winter, and the flowers are blooming and the trees also. It is finally Spring.
Last night Atticus and Lila had their Art Debut!!!!! It was an exciting 20 minutes (just the right amount of time with little ones) and we got some cute pictures.
Also we have some birthdays to celebrate. Sabrina (Teeny Belle) had hers May 5th, Roman's is the 14th and Lila's is the 16th. We will have to celebrate altogether soon as we are getting so many. Maybe we could do a bang up party on Aaron's, the 26th. He always loved huge gatherings. If you haven 't seen him lately, he is a new man. He looks so great and even his skin
looks perfect. Wish we could all lose weight and look like that! One handsome dude! We are proud of him and his hard work.
Heidi has a new job at a clothing store I have to check out. She seems to enjoy it and gets cute clothes there for herself. I don't know which of us should get a job there, Megan or me.
All the baby girls are walking now. Sabrina started a couple of months ago. I think Ben and Brittany wanted to get rid of her, so sent her out to walk the dog. She is a tiny, little one and looks so cute dragging Boo. Also, she has some of her Uncle B in her. She climbs everywhere. (Especially where she shouldn't.)
Emme is walking a carrying possessions with her. She is not huge on hair, but has the strength of ten. There goes the fable about Samson. Just try to take something away from her. She is not big, but has such strong little arms. I think she should be a gymnast. And Teeth, she has 7 and uses them. Don't get your finger in her mouth!
Scout has a glorious hair in the family. She can even get two ponytails now. (Although they are tiny.) And her hair seems naturally curly. Why does Megan get the luck with kids with hair? She has a sweet little voice when she talks and sings and she has a mind of her own. If you try to get close to her mama, she lets you have it. It is a good thing Atticus is so patient with her. He just laughs.
Little Bobby is growing like a weed. He is two now and wow, what a ball of fire. He can throw a baseball like a certified pitcher. (His dad loves it.) But you have to make sure it is a soft ball or else. He loves Bryton's games and tries to go by his dad while Bob is coaching. He mimics Bob's body language. It is a sight to see. Bryton is doing well with her baseball. She gets better every game. I love to watch her run and put in hands on her knees in the outfield. She slept over last night and is a joy to be with.
Kudos to Noah for his fine baseball ability and to Taylor for reading New Moon. They are great. We are proud of them, but wished they lived closer. It's hard to get to their games. Payton is starting soccor soon and can't see Gramma Risha on Saturdays for awhile.
We get to see our Skousen girls this week. We can't wait. I want some more loves from Jessica and Katrina. And for Katrina to hold my face when she talks to me. Jessica listens to stories so well, it makes me happy. She and Lila are great listeners and maybe will be my readers. I hope so. And we all can't wait to get our hands on our Brittany. We miss her so much!!!!!!!
