I have been lax this last month in blogging. We have had so much going on and it has kept us so busy. First, Brittany and the kids drove up from Arizona. Wow! How they have all grown and they are so darn cute. Jessie looks great in her glasses and she is so helpful. Katrina is a beauty and is in her own little world. Belle is busy as a bee with a sore bonnet (as my mother would say) and loves copying her sisters and Reagan is cuter than ever. All 15 pounds of him. He was held by someone in the family constantly.

MORE GINGERBREAD PICTURES
Sure wish I could write and it would print. We had such a great time, and hectic time at Natalies. Of course, Bob made it the best with extra candy and houses and castles. He is such a fun addition to the family. The little kids just picked candy up off the floor and ate it and the big ones did a creative job. We are so blessed to have Brittany and her kids here.

SCOUT (MY LITTLE MIMIC)
We have had a fun last few days with kids and grandkids. But right now the one that comes to mind is little Scout. She is an enigma. One minute she is so loving and the next she is biting herself because she wants out of a car seat. She has gorgeous hair, but when I asked if I can fix it in a ponytail, she pulls on it. I wonder if she has dual personalities. (It could run in the family.) Atticus asked his mom if he could keep Scout, even if her hair isn't the color of his and his moms. She adores her brother...and even kisses him, if he doesn't persist too much. But she has become her mama's girl. She kisses her and loves on her and says everything. She says "mama, mama, help me help me, and love you." She says "ironman, hobbit"( which does sound so cute) and "don't leave me" today at daycare. If she doesn't like you, she ignores you completely. And when Atticus goes to primary, she wants to go with him. She loves to be called "Itty Bitty" and when Megan is in the shower, Scout strips and gets in with her. NO PRIVACY. I am so anxious for Scout to get together with Emme and Sabrina. It should be a cacophony of baby girl's voices. My favorite thing about Scout's is her voice. She talks and sings in a sweet, little melody. It is so pleasant to listen to. (Except when it it "OWEY!") She actually points her finger at you and says "naughty, naughty" even when it is she who has been mischievous. I wonder what this little imp will become as she grows up. Determined, I am sure. At least she has the finest brother to count on.

WALLICK THANKSGIVING 2008 (ONE OF THE BEST)
Don't know why this Thanksgiving seemed to
go so well. Maybe it was because we had our sons and their families for a Thanksgiving breakfast and our daughters for a Thanksgiving dinner and we could enjoy each of them a little more. Whatever it was, it turned out great. Aaron, Erika, Titan, Roman and Mason came. They helped with the breakfast and we got to see how the boys have grown. Titan is a young man now. He is handsome, articulate and reminds me alot of his dad when he was this age. He talks sports constantly and is fun to be around. Roman, as usual, was dressed up in a favorite character. He had so much to tell us about sharks. He is now an expert. What a great kid. Mason told us about his new parrot. He says it talks and flies and says "Polly want a cracker." Later we found out he doesn't have a parrot! But a great imagination! Erika looked beautiful, as usual and it is just comforting to have Aaron here.
Brandon and Heidi brought their family too. And all of the kids! Azlan is a beautiful, young woman. Wow she has grown up so fast. She looked so pretty. Taylor, I have been told, is a straight A student who writes books and music. She is constantly reading and planning on entering BYU when she graduates. (NO BYU COMMENTS!) I am so PROUD of her. (I don't even care where she goes to college, as long as she goes!) Noah is so much fun. He is so good with younger kids and is always throwing a ball. He is just a joy to be around. And Payton, what a doll. She can keep up with all of them. What a beautiful, little girl!!!! Heidi helped so much with the clean up. I love her so. And Brandon, what can I say, he is Brandon, always full of mischief. If he weren't, we wouldn't know what to do. It was a great breakfast.
Three hours later we had our dinner. Bethany and Bob brought a deep fried turkey, Josh made a marinated turkey and I made a traditional turkey. Needless to say, we had enough turkey. It was fun. We all got around one table and feasted. Lila, Emme and Bobby got along so well we didn't know they were there. Then Lila and Emme helped make a chocolate pie. So we had pumpkin, chocolate and cream cheese pies. I love my little helpers. They are helpful and beautiful. Yes, we all ate well and we are so grateful we could be together in good health this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KATRINA KATHY (FRINA LOU)
I have tried for weeks to get this blog going again. And finally, everything is working! I have found some great pictures of my Katrina! She is Brittany and Ben's second little girl and she is three. She is such a special, little girl. I have so many favorite things about her. She holds your face when she is talking to you and kissing you. When she runs, she looks to the side, not where she is going, and she runs very slowly. Her eyes are the most gorgeous blue and they sparkle. No one can pass by those chubby cheeks without kissing them. They are the best. She is such a helper to her mama. She talks non stop...but it is cute. She almost always has a doll or stuffed animal with her. She looks great in a swim suit, and shows a little more than allowed. And she is a great swimmer! I just have so many wonderful memories of her and can't wait to hold her, love her, and read to her again.
